Synopsis

SUNFLOWER tells the story of Vincent Van Gogh's battle with mental illness and recounts the events leading up to him cutting off his ear. Through flashbacks, absinthe-induced trips,  and heartbreak, we see Van Gogh as a lonely, often misunderstood painter, unable to find requited love.
